Our client has been serving the financial needs of Singapore with a portfolio of of product and professional advisory through their consultant network and bank partners. They sought to create a talent develop solution that will motivate and leverage the potential of the talent pool towards their in-house accelerator pathway.
The Challenge
Keeping young talents motivated and inspired to apply the leadership competencies and values can help reduce attrition and engage high potentials to value their career path in the organization. Creating a development program that articulates the values and priorities of the organization while ensuring learning and internalization to apply the learned skill at work.
The Solution
With these key concerns in mind, we partnered with our client to co-create a leadership development program by:
- Understanding the needs and challenges of the talent pool in the context and their aspirations as a leader
- Crafting a holistic program based incorporating coaching support and follow through with coaching and guidance
The Outcome
Over 3 years of collaboration with 3 tailored leadership development programs with the following elements:
- An agile coaching process that allowed for pilot designs to be revamped and improved for the next cohort
- Applying real organization situations with experiential-based learning thus making learning a simulation in reality
- Conducted team coaching sessions to reinforce the practice of peer learning using action-based methods
- Consulted with the sponsor to provide individual coaching where specific performance issues needed to be addressed
- Incorporated future strategic drivers into the activity design to help learners to visual and simulate future working spaces

- Real work simulations were well received by all cohorts as they saw practical ideas
