Cathy’s 25 years of international corporate experience has deepened her understanding of and ability to connect with first-line managers to C-suite executives from all functional roles. She is experienced in Talent Development from assessment centres through the design and delivery of strategic development programs for distinct levels within organizations. Cathy also has a special interest and expertise in helping individuals develop their ability to perform well on a global platform and facilitating understanding in multi-cultural teams.

Prior to entering the field of facilitation, design and coaching, Cathy was Head of Marketing for Global Sources (NASDAQ: GSOL), a leading business-to-business (B2B) media company and a primary facilitator of two-way trade with Greater China. She successfully coached teams while gaining experience in eCommerce, project management, IT and publishing. One of her notable achievements was in facilitating greater understanding between the business-side and IT teams, and significantly impacting their performance.

Cathy received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Keenan-Flagler Business School of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a Certified Professional Coach with training from New Ventures West, a Certified Transitions Coach with training from Fischer Group International, and is a member of the International Coach Federation. With specialization in Accounting, Financial reporting, Financial Systems Development, SOX Compliance, Payroll, Taxation and Treasury, Clarice gleaned her wide-based experience working in both the public and private sectors, serving companies such as Hewlett Packard, Lenovo, Sun Microsystems, COB Technology, Quantum Asia Pacific, Comfort Group, Maxtor Peripherals and Colliers Jardine.

In addition, Clarice worked with Regional Sales Leaders & Worldwide Sales Compensation teams in designing sales plans (commission plans) to incentivize Sales Reps/Managers/VP, understand and streamline the products mix/selling method as well as the legal aspects in paying sales personnel regionally.

Ken Tan

Ken has worn many hats in a career spanning more than 20 years in several different fields, specializing in Marketing and Communications. Spending the first half of his career in advertising, he established his credentials first in Batey Ads and later in Euro RSCG on both regional and local accounts such as Singapore Airlines, SingTel, Danone Brands, Cycle & Carriage, Canon, Sun Microsystems and the National Arts Council.

As a writer, he honed his conceptualization and writing skills producing copy in a wide variety of media for clients as diverse as Citibank, SGS Thomson, the National Science & Technology Board, UOB and the National Arts Council. He also contributed articles to various local publications & was a staff writer/stylist for Home & Décor Magazine.

Returning to the corporate world, he headed the Corporate Communications department at AXA Insurance, responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s branding and marketing communication. He also helmed the cultural integration of staff, intermediaries and business partners during the local office’s merger with Guardian Insurance and was a key member of the company’s Crisis Management Team.

In 2001, he dived headlong into entrepreneurship, opening a small shop selling vintage furniture, jewellery & accessories. Over time, the business diversified its product offering to include lifestyle services such as yacht cruises and holiday villas in Sri Lanka, which it continues to do till this day; a successful (and personally fulfilling) exercise in cross-marketing to a specific target audience. Since 2005, the company has capitalized on the partners’ creativity, marketing experience and passion for design and concentrated on providing interior design services, with a focus on residential homes. Their work has been featured in Home & Décor, The New Paper and Her World.

Whether it’s managing a client’s expectations of an ad campaign, writing an article for a particular audience, facilitating a focus group or designing a kitchen, Ken revels in the opportunity to find solutions to problems, and in finding creative ways to achieve them.

Over the last 10 years, Sierralyn Huynh has gained extensive experience in business development, process improvement and strategic management. Starting her career as a management consultant with A.T Kearney, she was involved in strategic planning and implementation, market research and analysis and business process management. Her work included creating a customer centric organization for security solutions provider, CISCO; developing an operations manual for Malaysia's largest venture capital company, MAVCAP; program management for the integration of Singapore's largest securities and futures brokerage, DBS Vickers Securities; and optimizing operational and support process through strategic sourcing and call centre operations for Singapore's leading bank, DBS. .

Sierralyn was instrumental in the launch of an alternative mode of freight services through a strategic partnership with Asiana Airlines and Hyundai Logistics for Elite Cargo Group. Her interest in internet distribution spurred her into being among the early developers of Singapore's first online boutiques for baby clothes and accessories showcasing well-known brands from the U.S.A.

She supported the Chairman of RCH International in market research, business development, strategic analysis, conceptualization and master planning of hospitality and total environment tourism projects in Cambodia, China and Indonesia. She also worked closely with the CEO Shatec Institutes to formulate strategic initiatives for its Continuing Education and Training programs, alumni development, apprenticeship vocational training as well as fostering collaboration with member hotels of the Singapore Hotel Association and the hospitality industry.
